何回も質問だけで本当に申し訳ありません。
startxできないです。startxwin.shでは文字化けするのでこちらを使おうと思っていますが、出来ないです。空の.Xauthorityをつくると、エラーは出ませんが、起動しません。エラーメッセージ↓

MSWindows版商用Xサーバを買って済ますのがよい気がします。

　どのような環境で、どのような目的をもって、何をおこなったか
が書かれていないので、アドバイスできませんでした。

レスありがとうございます。UNIXの勉強用に導入してみたのですが、やはり勉強不足ですね。すみません。紹介されたHPみながらもう一度トライしてみます。
